By using the services of TWise Logistics, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:
1. Shipping & Delivery
TWise Logistics provides freight forwarding, shipping, pickup, and delivery services primarily from the USA to Jamaica.
Estimated delivery times may vary depending on shipping schedules, customs clearance, weather, and other circumstances beyond our control.
Customers will be notified when their packages are available for pickup or delivery.
While we make every effort to meet estimated delivery times, delays may occasionally occur.
2. Customs, Duties & Taxes
Customers are responsible for providing accurate invoices, item descriptions, and declared values for all shipments.
Customs duties, taxes, or other charges assessed by the relevant Jamaican authorities are the responsibility of the customer.
TWise Logistics is not responsible for delays, additional charges, or penalties resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the customer.
3. Prohibited & Restricted Items
Customers must not ship items that are prohibited or restricted under Jamaican law or applicable shipping regulations.
Prohibited items may include illegal drugs, firearms and ammunition, hazardous materials, counterfeit goods, and other restricted items.
TWise Logistics reserves the right to refuse, hold, or report any shipment suspected of containing prohibited or restricted items.
4. Fees & Payments
Shipping rates are based on the applicable service, package size, weight, and other relevant factors.
Additional charges may apply for oversized, overweight, special-handling, or other exceptional shipments.
Customers are responsible for paying all applicable shipping, delivery, customs, storage, and other charges before their package is released, where applicable.
Payment methods accepted by TWise Logistics will be communicated to customers.
5. Packaging & Damaged Items
Customers are responsible for ensuring that items are properly packaged before being sent to our warehouse or shipping location.
TWise Logistics will take reasonable care when handling packages; however, we are not responsible for damage caused by inadequate or improper packaging by the sender.
Customers should ensure that fragile or sensitive items are appropriately protected.
6. Storage & Unclaimed Packages
Customers should collect their packages within the timeframe communicated by TWise Logistics after arrival.
Storage fees may apply to packages that remain uncollected beyond the stated collection period.
Packages left unclaimed for an extended period may be considered abandoned and may be subject to disposal or other action in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must provide accurate names, addresses, telephone numbers, invoices, item descriptions, and other information required to process their shipments.
Customers are responsible for checking that their shipment information is correct before submission.
Customers must comply with all applicable Jamaican import and customs requirements.
8. Loss, Damage & Liability
TWise Logistics takes reasonable measures to handle and transport packages safely.
TWise Logistics is not responsible for delays or losses caused by customs inspections, natural disasters, weather conditions, transportation disruptions, incorrect customer information, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Any claims for lost or damaged packages must be reported to TWise Logistics within the timeframe communicated to the customer.
9. Privacy
TWise Logistics may collect and use customer information necessary to process orders, communicate with customers, arrange deliveries, and provide our services.
Customer information will be handled responsibly and will not be shared except where necessary to provide the requested service, comply with legal requirements, or protect our business and customers.
10. Changes to These Terms
TWise Logistics reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions when necessary.
Any changes will be posted on our website or communicated to customers where appropriate.
Continued use of our services after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms & Conditions.
